Best describes the Moncler Presentation yesterday, where he showed an amazing ski-wear presentation yesterday placing 49 models in a grid as a backdrop to a handful of opera singers on swinging pendulums!
The grid has become something of a Moncler tradition, but like a firework display, it never fails to hypnotise. As the lights flashed on and off, illuminating the alternate black and white outfits, the effect was hypnotic - which is saying something when those outfits are based on ski-wear.
Cowprints, ruching, slashed furs with furs spilling through the gashes, triple layers of wool-felt interspersed with waterproof nylon. Yet in terms of creativity and pushing the skiwear concept to new limits, it's definitely in the running for a gold medal.
